Acceptable use policy

This policy sets out what you may not do with Digimad. It applies to the website, the app and any API or feed we expose, and it forms part of the Terms of service. Breaking it can cost you your access.

The destination and visa catalog took real editorial work to build and is the product itself. You may not:

• Run a crawler, scraper, spider, headless browser or any other automated process over the service to collect content, beyond what a search engine does under our robots.txt.
• Extract, copy or store the catalog or a substantial part of it, whether in one pass or by repeated small requests that add up to the same thing.
• Republish, mirror, resell, syndicate or redistribute the content anywhere, in any format.
• Use the content to build, seed or improve another app, website, dataset, model, feed or product — including one that reworks the presentation but keeps the substance.
• Use the content to train, fine-tune, ground or benchmark a machine learning model.
• Strip out the source citations, verification dates or editorial status attached to a figure, or present our data as though it were verified by someone else.

Reading pages, saving what is useful to you, and quoting a short passage with a link back to the page it came from are all fine.

You may not:

• Probe, scan or test the security of the service, or get around any authentication, rate limit or access control.
• Interfere with the service or the infrastructure behind it, including by flooding it with requests.
• Access another person's account or data, or try to.
• Upload malware, or use the service to distribute it.
• Misrepresent who you are or what your automated client is.

If you find a security problem, tell us at hello@digimad.ai rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine vulnerability in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it.

You may not use Digimad to break the law, to help someone else break it, or to plan or carry out immigration or tax fraud. Nothing here should be read as an invitation to misrepresent your circumstances to any authority.

You may not use the service to harass anyone, to infringe someone else's rights, or to publish content that is unlawful.

The in-app assistant is there to help you understand destinations and visa rules. Do not use it to generate unlawful content, to attempt to extract the underlying catalog, or to try to circumvent the restrictions in this policy.

We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate access that breaches this policy, and we may block automated clients that ignore it. Where the breach is serious or repeated we may act without notice.

If you want to do something this policy prohibits — a research partnership, a licensed feed, an integration — ask. Write to hello@digimad.ai and we will tell you whether it is possible.
