Immigration and tax rules change constantly, often without notice and sometimes retroactively. A visa that existed when a page was written may have been withdrawn, repriced or rewritten since.

Every destination and visa page shows the sources behind it and the date each was last verified, plus an editorial status. Those dates are there so you can judge how much weight a figure deserves. Treat anything older than your decision horizon as a starting point for your own check, not as an answer.

Whether a rule applies to you depends on facts Digimad does not fully know: your nationality and any others you hold, your residence and tax history, your family situation, your employment structure, previous immigration decisions, and how a particular consulate or officer exercises discretion on the day.

Two people reading the same page can have opposite outcomes, and both can be correct. An eligibility result in the app is a reading of published rules against the answers you gave — it is not a decision, a promise or a pre-approval, and no authority is bound by it.

Cost-of-living figures, internet speeds, safety ratings and scores are editorial estimates compiled from research and review. They are there to compare places against each other on a consistent scale, not to budget to the dollar.

The Digimad score is our judgement, not an aggregate of user reviews, and we do not present it as one.

Before you act on anything here — booking a flight, signing a lease, filing an application, crossing a day-count threshold — confirm it against the official source linked on the page, or with a qualified immigration adviser or tax professional in the relevant country.

This matters most for the residency thresholds. The day you become tax resident somewhere is a legal fact with consequences that a day counter in an app cannot settle for you.

Pages link to government portals and other third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they say or do.

Replies from the in-app assistant are generated by a language model. They can be wrong, out of date, or confidently invented, and they carry the same caveats as everything else here — more so. Verify anything that matters against the sources on the page.

To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on the information in Digimad, including visa refusals, overstay penalties, tax assessments, or costs incurred on a plan that did not work out. The limits in the Terms of service apply.
