Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and MissionMind ("Digimad", "we") covering the website at digimad.ai, the Digimad mobile app, and everything published on them. By using any of it, you accept these terms. If you do not, stop using the service.

Some parts of the service have their own rules that sit alongside these: the Acceptable use policy, the Disclaimer, the EULA covering the mobile app, and the Privacy policy. Where a specific document conflicts with these terms on its subject, the specific document wins.

The servers and the database serving Digimad run in Cloudflare's EU jurisdiction, which pins storage to data centres in the European Union.

You must be at least 16 to use Digimad. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to it secure.

The destination guides, visa profiles, scores, cost figures, editorial copy, structure and the underlying database are ours, or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and database rights. The Digimad name and logo are ours.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to read and use this content for your own travel and relocation decisions. That is the whole of the licence.

This is the restriction that matters most to us, so it is set out plainly. You may not, without our written permission:

• Copy, scrape, crawl, harvest or otherwise extract the destination, city, neighbourhood or visa content in bulk, by any automated or manual means.
• Reproduce, republish, redistribute, sell, licence or sublicense the content, in whole or in substantial part, anywhere.
• Build or contribute to a competing or comparable product, app, website, dataset, API or feed using our content — including a derivative dataset that keeps the substance of ours while changing its presentation.
• Use the content to train, fine-tune, ground or evaluate a machine learning model, or to generate content for a product other than your own personal use.
• Remove, obscure or alter any attribution, source citation or notice attached to the content.

Reading a page, saving it for yourself, or quoting a short passage with a link back to the source page is fine. Taking the catalog is not.

We reserve every right not expressly granted here.

Anything you put into Digimad — profile details, visa answers, saved lists, feedback — stays yours. You grant us the licence we need to store it, process it and show it back to you so the service works.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may act on them freely and without owing you anything for them.

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices are shown before you buy. Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple or Google under their terms, they renew automatically until cancelled, and you cancel them in your store account rather than with us.

Refunds for store purchases are handled by the store under its own policy. Where the law gives you a right to cancel or a refund, that right stands regardless of anything in this section.

We may change prices for future billing periods with reasonable notice.

If you are a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because a subscription gives you immediate access to digital content, starting it means you ask us to begin performance straight away and acknowledge that you lose that right of withdrawal once access has begun. You are asked to confirm this at the point of purchase.

Digimad is an information product. It tells you what published rules say and cites where that came from. It does not give legal, immigration, tax, financial or medical advice, and using it does not create a professional relationship of any kind.

The Disclaimer sets this out in full, and it applies to everything on the website and in the app.

We work to keep the service accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties, including of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 USD.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

You can stop using Digimad and delete your account whenever you like.

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or the Acceptable use policy, or if we have to for legal or security reasons. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first.

The sections on our content, liability and governing law survive the end of this agreement.

We may change these terms. If a change materially affects you we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use Digimad after that means you accept it.

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there or in France. If you are a business, the courts of Paris have exclusive jurisdiction.
