1.The licence
This End User Licence Agreement is between you and MissionMind ("Digimad", "we") and covers the Digimad mobile app, its updates, and the destination and visa content inside it. Installing or using the app means you accept it.
It sits alongside the Terms of service, the Acceptable use policy, the Disclaimer and the Privacy policy. Where this agreement and the Terms of service conflict about the app specifically, this agreement wins.
2.What you get
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to install and run the app on devices you own or control, for your own use.
The app is licensed, not sold. We keep every right we do not expressly grant here, including all rights in the app, its design, and the destination and visa catalog it contains.
3.What you may not do
You may not:
- Copy the app except as the licence allows, or distribute, rent, lease, lend, sell or sublicense it.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, or try to derive its source code, except where the law expressly permits it despite this restriction.
- Modify the app, or build a derivative work from it.
- Extract, copy or reuse the destination and visa catalog bundled in the app, or use it to build, seed or improve another app, dataset, feed, product or machine learning model. This is the same restriction as in the Terms of service and it applies equally to the copy that ships inside the app.
- Remove or alter any proprietary notice, source citation or verification date.
- Use the app in a way the Acceptable use policy prohibits.
4.Permissions and the assistant
The app can request location, photo library and notification access. Each is optional and each is used only for the feature described when it is requested — country-level stay tracking, reconstructing past trips from photo metadata, and expiry warnings.
The app includes an optional assistant powered by OpenAI. It is off until you turn it on, and turning it on means your messages are sent to OpenAI to generate a reply. The Privacy policy explains all of this in full.
5.Subscriptions
Some features need a paid subscription, billed through the App Store or Google Play under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your store account.
6.Warranties and liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows we disclaim all implied warranties, and our liability is limited as set out in the Terms of service. The Disclaimer applies in full to the content inside the app: it is information, not advice, and immigration and tax rules change without notice.
If you are a consumer, none of this affects your statutory rights.
7.If you installed from the App Store
This section applies when you get the app from the Apple App Store, and Apple requires it:
- This agreement is between you and Digimad only, not Apple. Digimad, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- Digimad, not Apple, is responsible for any claim relating to the app, including product liability, failure to conform to a legal requirement, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
- Digimad, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and resolving any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
- You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any US Government restricted-party list.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.
8.If you installed from Google Play
When you get the app from Google Play, Google's Play Terms of Service also apply to the download and to any purchase. Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app.
9.Ending it, and governing law
This licence ends if you breach it, and ends automatically if you delete the app. On termination you must stop using the app and remove it from your devices.
This agreement is governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country you live in, and the dispute resolution route in the Terms of service applies here too.
