About
Alcântara stretches along the Tagus to the west of the centre, between the docks and the 25 de Abril bridge. Old warehouses have become restaurants and venues, and the LX Factory creative complex is here. It is calmer than the centre, close to Belém and the riverside cycle path, but public transport depends a lot on the exact street.
