Taiwan grants visa-free entry to a broad group of passports. Most European, North American and developed Asia-Pacific passports receive 90 days; several Southeast Asian and Caribbean passports receive 30 or 14. The stay starts on the day after arrival and is normally non-extendable. It covers tourism and qualifying business visits, not local employment, and is less suitable than the nomad visa for sustained remote work.
