Visa on Arrival (B1)
The default way into Indonesia for a short trip. Buy it online before departure as an e-VOA or at the airport counter, get 30 days, then extend once by another 30 through the immigration portal without leaving the country. It is a tourist permit: working, even remotely, is formally not permitted, and Bali immigration has become noticeably more active about this since 2024.
